Easter Cottage is a lovely old local house on the island of Bequia, stylishly converted into two vacation rental apartments by renowned local Architect Gabi Peters — who once described it as 'my jewel.'
Sitting on a bluff on the south side of the island, it is blessed with constant breeze from the tradewinds, looking out over the caldera and the neighboring uninhabited islands of Petit Nevis and Isle de Quatre. The view is ever changing as clouds and rain squalls move through.
Frigate birds sweep by at eye level. On a Sunday morning, hymns from the church next door float across the porch. The surf break at the bottom of the cliff can be peaceful or raucous depending on the Atlantic swell.

The Apartments
Each self-catering apartment is fully independent with its own kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor living space — available separately or together as a full villa rental. Among the most private vacation homes in Bequia.

Getting to Bequia
Fly into St. Vincent International (SVD) via American Airlines, JetBlue, Delta, Caribbean Airlines, Air Canada, or Virgin Atlantic. A 30-minute taxi to the ferry, then a scenic one-hour crossing with Bequia Express or Admiralty Ferry. Last ferry departs 5pm.
Direct to Bequia
Fly via Barbados and connect directly with SVG Air or Air Mustique.
On the Island
Car rentals can be arranged. Local taxis run on set rates — many guests find a favourite driver for the whole trip. Easter Cottage is also on the local Dollar Bus route.
